## About this design

This is the cottage from every storybook. A thatched stone house sits in a snowy rose garden at twilight, its windows glowing behind lace curtains, fairy lights strung along the picket fence and arbour, a few pink roses still blooming and a red bow tied to the gate.

It's warm, romantic and a little bit magical, which makes it a lovely focal piece above a mantel, a bed or a sofa. The golden light keeps it cozy in rooms that lean cream, pink or English country.

If someone you love dreams of an English garden or a cottage of her own, this is the piece to give her. It also makes a beautiful anniversary or housewarming gift in December.

Snow settles on the thatch, the windows glow gold and the whole garden seems to be holding its breath for Christmas morning. It's the kind of scene you could look at for a long time and still find something new.
