About this design

A robin on a winter branch is one of the oldest Christmas symbols, and one of the sweetest. Ours is perched among bright red rose hips dusted with snow, with a pink satin ribbon tied loosely around the stem and soft roses fading into a blush background.

It's gentle and elegant, with plenty of breathing room, so it works on a small wall, in a bathroom or powder room, or as part of a botanical gallery wall. Birdwatchers and gardeners tend to love it all year round.

Many people see a robin as a sign that someone they've lost is close by at Christmas, which makes this a meaningful gift for a friend who's missing someone this season. It's also simply a lovely winter piece for anyone who loves birds and roses.
