Privacy policy

Handcrafted Home is a small Canadian shop. We collect only what we need to make, ship and support your order, and we never sell your information.

What we collect

• Your name, email, phone (optional) and shipping address when you place an order.
• The text you type to personalize a product, so we can print it.
• Payment details are entered directly with Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
• Basic, anonymous browsing statistics (pages visited, device type, rough location).

Who we share it with

Only the companies that help us run the shop, and only what each one needs:

• Our print and fulfilment partner prints and ships your order, so it receives your name, shipping address, contact details and personalization.
• Stripe processes your payment.
• Resend delivers our order and shipping emails.
• Google Analytics measures how the site is used, with cookies.

Some of these companies store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.

Cookies and storage

Your cart is kept in your own browser. Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits; you can block them in your browser settings or with Google’s opt-out add-on, and the shop still works.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as Canadian tax law requires (generally six years). Anything we don’t need for that is deleted when it’s no longer useful.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@handcraftedhome.ca. We’ll reply within 30 days.
